I have continued to medicate my fashion week(s) anxiety with a steady dose of Sons of Anarchy, a fantastic program that covers many important topics, from necrofilia to gun running.
I have also lost my mind over Chloe's Spring 2012 collection featuring my favorite color spectrum which spans pale bandaid to poppy coral. In celebration of my two current passions, I have decided to do a Whole Pretty interview with Jax Teller, the young, brooding protagonist thug on SOA, to discuss our respective Spring 2012 wardrobes.
TWP: Hi Jax, thanks for coming. I'm really excited to talk about what we're going to be wearing next Spring.
Jax: Thanks for having me, these chics are hot!
TWP: I know! they're models!
TWP: SO, I am over the moon about everything in this Chloe collection! I can really see myself rocking out the pale beigey pinks with cream and poppy accents. What are you going to be wearing in Spring of 2012?
Jax: I'll probably just roll out with my usual gear: jeans, hooded sweatshirt or long sleeve plaid shirt under my boxy SOA gang vest and my exposed hunting knife AND a concealed weapon.
TWP: It's hard to comment on a "concealed" accessory, but I actually dig on the knife detail. It seems like you might be a fan of Michael Kors Spring 2012, he went deep safari, lots of bronzer AND dudes in sarongs. Would you ever wear a sarong?
Jax: Fuck no!
TWP: O.K., O.K., sorry! Don't cut me!
Jax: We don't cut women.
TWP: I know. I know. But really, what do you think about this Chloe collection? Does the intricate pleating and ribbon detail resonate with you as much as it does with me?
Jax: Huh? These chics are hot.
TWP: I know! They're models!
TWP: I can just really see myself rolling out of bed and slipping into the skirt on the left, but with a white tank, that top looks like it's for an orderly in an insane asylum. Or the top on the right with a pair of J brand denim. Do you think if you invested in some nice classic pieces, it would be harder for you to get messy and do murder and set people on fire?
Jax: Have you ever killed anybody?
TWP: Um, no.
Jax: Clearly. When I take someone out, the last thing I want to do is wear anything unique or distinguishable. That's just basically doing the feds' job for them.
TWP: Ahhhhhhhh yes! I see. So you probably shop exclusively at Academy.
Jax: Yep.
Jax: I like red.
TWP: Me too. But it's more of a poppy coral than a red. Bandaid and poppy coral. Thank You Jax for your singular opinion on next spring's fashions and thank you Chloe for giving me an entire collection centered around my fave non-color-color, BANDAID!
